 Zhejiang Metals & Minerals Imp.& Exp. Co., Ltd. (ZJMTD) was established in 1980 and is one of the key subsidiaries of the state-owned enterprise - Zhejiang International Business Group Co., Ltd. As the standing executive council member of China Chamber of Commerce of Metals & Minerals & Chemicals Importers & Exporters and China Chamber of Commerce of Machinery & Electronics Products Importers & Exporters, ZJMTD has been given the franchise to trade in the commodity such as steel, coal, metal scrap, waste paper, hazardous chemicals, fluorspar and firearms. In 2008, its import and export volume exceeded 360 million U.S. Dollars and entrepot trade amounted to 80 Million U.S. Dollars. With a turnover of 3,780 million RMB, ZJMTD has been successively in the list of top 500 import and export enterprises in China and among the best of the companies in the trading of metals and minerals.
ZJMTD owns an office building of 30,000 square meters and well-equipped warehouses of over 60,000 square meters. There are over 300 professional and well-experienced marketing & managing employees. It also has effective ERP managing system and operation mechanism. With these qualifications, ZJMTD has been consecutively ranked AAA Grade customer by Banks and A Grade Enterprise by Customs.
ZJMTD has registered six trading companies respectively in USA, Germany, Russia, Hungary, Nigeria and Brazil. Meanwhile, it has invested in 17 subsidiaries in 7 cities including Hangzhou, Ningbo, Jiaxing, Wenzhou, Shenzhen, which are widely engaged in the manufacturing of metal products, the importing and exporting, the logistics, the domestic trading and the real estate management.
